  3. If the item does not have a barcode, you can press the “+” button in the bottom right.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Pantidy attempts to identify the expiration date by analyzing the category and location. You can always pick your override this and the system will remember for next time. If you want to change this in the future, you can find in the “Pantry” item screen, underneath “Typical Shelf Life”

  2. Get started by either pressing the “+” to add your own recipe, or by clicking the clipboard to import some of your favorites! Don’t worry, we make it a point to always maintain the original source so the creator gets credit. W

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: We recommend “Meal Planning” and browsing your recipes that you plan to make in the upcoming week. From there, you can tap into the Recipe and see any missing ingredients, along with a button to quickly add them to your “Shopping List”

Let Pantidy work for you

  2. From here you can:
    • Name your Pantry

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Pantidy is designed with customization in mind. While it comes preconfigured with multiple settings, it was important during the design process to build a tool that anybody could setup according to their needs.

Getting the Most Out of Pantidy

Start with your fridge โ€” it’s where food expires fastest

First time setup can be tedious. We recommend starting with your fridge since it’s where food expires the fastest. From there, a solid routine of scanning your grocery haul after every outing will keep the labor expense low and utility high!

Check ‘Use Expiring’ recipes at the start of each week

Use the “Use Expiring” tile in your Recipes screen to save on food waste. Don’t have any recipes that use your expiring ingredients? Use the button in the top right corner of the “Recipes” screen to browse for inspiration.
